You get around 6-7k when you get 1st place and play with just one other guy. I think it also depends on how quickly you finish the lap so try to complete it in under #.
As you saw in the video, I got 10k+ playing with just two other people. It's a very easy way so definitely try it out!
If you don't have a highly modified car, I would suggest you keep catch up switched on.
